Jazz Vespers Mission Statement

The United Methodist Church has adopted the creed "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors". By bringing the Jazz Vespers program (formerly at the Ventnor United Methodist Church) to the Asbury Methodist Church here in Atlantic City, we hope to demonstrate affirmation of this creed by featuring local exceptional musical talent in a unique and spiritual setting. In doing so, we also keep the music alive!

We have opened the doors of our church and community to all who come to Atlantic City, in order to show another side of this great community from another perspective. Our goal is to commune for an hour or two with residents and visitors regardless of race, color or creed, uniting all the beautiful colors of the rainbow while listening together to great jazz music and moving to the same beat...
